Wearable Keyboard

Yep, that's right a wearable keyboard.

FrogPad joined forces with Ekeksen and SCOTTeVest to introduce its latest innovation. Ekekesen is a soft sensing and interface device manufacturer. SCOTTeVEST designs garments with mobile device users in mind, incorporating ergonomically designed pockets and a patented Personal Area Network (PAN) by Technology Enabled Clothing (TEC) to manage and conceal wires from headsets.

The wearable Frog is a portable fabric keyboard with Bluetooth technology. The wearable Frog is compatible with all Macs and PCs supporting the Bluetooth Human Interface Device (HID) profile, which describes how a keyboard will communicate with another Bluetooth device.

The FrogPad SCOTTeVEST is a portable fabric keyboard with Bluetooth technology that is integrated into some of SCOTTeVEST’s line of clothing.

Applications for the wearable Frog include industries with needs for easy data entry from a field application such as shipping logistics, healthcare patient care, and remote field operations such as on-site drilling for the Oil & Gas industry. The wearable Frog is the latest addition to the FrogPad product line which includes the iFrog BlueTooth FrogPad, the original FrogPad with two versions for left and right-handed users, and the slimmer white FrogPad.

“Our new FrogPad SCOTTeVEST product extends data entry to the most remote applications with ease,” said Linda Marroquin, CEO of FrogPad. “This new FrogPad has the same one-handed data entry capabilities as our iFrog BlueTooth enabled FrogPad but now in a wearable format that can be integrated into clothing for virtually any mobile application.”
